Blue, purple and green colours don’t freak me out, otherwise, I cannot imagine myself without them. I choose different cold shade in particular moment of life, but I have no rules, excepting one – there’s no place for neutral, light-toned colors. And I’m not talking about my wardrobe. Yes, it’s all about hair. Honestly, I cannot remember anymore how my natural hair looks like, I got used to my vivid braids and it feels like I was born this way. So, when KC Professional Color Mask Paint fell into my hands, I accepted that not as a challenge, but as an ordinary procedure.

Mėlyni, violetiniai, žali atspalviai man nekelia baimės, priešingai, savo įvaizdžio nebeįsivaizduoju be jų. Tam tikru gyvenimo momentu pasirenku vis kitą šaltą toną, bet nesilaikau jokių taisyklių, išskyrus vieną – žemiškoms, neutralioms spalvoms čia ne vieta. Ir kalbu tikrai ne apie savo garderobą. Taip, apie plaukus. Tiesą sakant, nebeatsimenu kaip atrodo mano natūrali plaukų spalva, pripratau prie ryškių kasų taip, lyg būčiau tokia gimusi. I must had tried every kind of colorful hair dye you can get here, in Lithuania and I’m still looking for the only one perfect product – the one which doesn’t fade out after diving into salty sea, which doesn’t change a color like a chameleon and the one which wouldn’t cost an earth. I had visited InHair store in Vilnius and when a ton of colorful bottles caught my eye I figured out that I must bring back home one of them with me. I exchanged my old-time lover purple for turquoise, so what’s my impression about it?

Tikriausiai esu išbandžiusi visus spalvotus dažus, kokius tik galima rasti Lietuvoje ir vis dar ieškau tos tobulos priemonės – kuri nenubluktų vos panirus į druskingą jūrą, nekeistų spalvos tarsi chameleonas ir kainuotų tiek, kad po apsipirkinėjimo, nebūtų baisu patikrinti savo sąskaitos likutį. Apsilankiau InHair parduotuvėje Vilnuje ir akis užkliuvo už spalvingų buteliukų, iškart supratau, kad vieną jų privalau parsinešti namo. Ilgą laiką mylėtą violetinę iškeičiau į turkio spalvą. Kokį įspūdį ši kaukė man paliko?

Packaging. To compare it with Directions, the most well-known colorful paint in Lithuania, this packaging seemed to be much more practical in the case you’re not using any additional tools, such as brushes, because you don’t need to scratch the last drop of product out of a jar with your fingertips. You get 75 ml of paint, and it’s enough for three procedures. And I wasn’t thrifty, I built layer by layer with a good amount of product.

Pakuotė. Lyginant su, ko gero, populiariausiais spalvotais dažais Lietuvoje Directions, kur pirštais tenka graibyti dažų likučius, ši tūbelės formos paskuotė pasirodė patogesnė tuo atveju, jei dažant nenaudojate papildomų įrankių (tokių, kaip teptukas). Gaunate 75 ml talpos produktą, man šio kiekio užteko trims kartams. Taupumu, šiuo atžvilgiu, nepasižymiu, ,,kroviau” sluoksnį po sluoksnio iš širdies.

Color. I’ve choosed Turquoise. From the first sight, when squeezed some color in my palm, it appeared to be deep blue without any hint of turquoise. But I have enough of experiences in this and I know that the final result and exact color of paint could be completely different, so this feature didn’t frighten me. I left the color on my hair for the maximum time to be absorbed – about 40 minutes. I should take a notice that the result wasn’t that intense and bright as I was expecting to be, in some areas I could have seen traces of previous dyes. In my opinion, this product could be suitable for those who are willing to get soft, pastel look. In this case, you should leave paint on your hair for 20 minutes.

Spalva. Pasirinkau Turquoise spalvą. Iš pirmo žvilgsnio, išspaudus dažų ant rankos, pasirodė jog spalva labai mėlyna ir neturi net menkiausios užuominos į turkį. Tačiau turiu pakankamai patirties ir žinau, jog galutinis rezultatas dažniausiai neatitinka pačio dažo spalvos, tad ši savybė neišgąsdino. Dažus laikiau maksimalų leistiną laiką – apie 40 minučių. Turiu pastebėti, kad rezultatas nebuvo toks intensyvus, kaip tikėjausi, kai kur matėsi užuominos į buvusius violetinius plaukus. Tad manau, jog ši priemonė labiausiai tiktų tiems, kurie nori švelnesnio, gal net pastelinio atspalvio. Tokiu atveju, siūlyčiau priemonę laikyti apie 20 minučių.

Texture. I think, thin color is a texture’s fault. As soon as I opened the packaging, I comprehended that this product is a bit different to compare with others. The paint itself seemed to be a little more liquid, and transparent on hair. I should add that this product has more of mask features – for example, hair become shiny, detangled after washing your hair.

Tekstūra. Manau, tekstūra prisidėjo trukdant sukurti itin ryškią spalvą. Vos atidariusi pakuotę, supratau, kad priemonė skiriasi nuo įprastų plaukų dažų. Tekstūra atrodė šiek tiek skystesnė, tepant ant plaukų buvo šiek tiek permatoma. Turiu pridurti, jog priemonė turi ir daugiau kaukės savybių – išplovus galvą, plaukai blizga, yra glotnūs, lengviau šukuojami.

Ingredients. For sure, I’m only choose cruelty-free cosmetics, and this time isn’t an exception. If you are scared that this kind of dye can damage your hair, I can add that this product contains no oxidants, only pigments create this kind of color. They can dry you hair out a little bit, but not more than any deep cleansing schampoo. Moreover, it contains moisturizing ingredients.

Sudėtis. Žinoma, renkuosi tik draugišką gyvūnams kosmetiką, ši priemonė nėra išimtis. Jei bijote jog tokie dažai gali pakenkti plaukų būklei, turiu pridurti jog sudėtyje nėra oksidantų, spalva sukuriama tik pigmentais, kurie gal ir pasausina plauką, bet ne daugiau nei giliai valantys šampūnai. Be to, tai komensuoja sudėtyje esančios kondicionuojančios, drėkinančios savybės.

Price. Color Mask costs about 12 euro.

Kaina. Priemonė kainuoja apie 12 eurų.

In conclusion, I would like to say that you couldn’t find any other color which could be so difficult to get properly on you hair than turquoise: it fades out, turns green, washes out fastly. So, I regret a bit, I choosed this particular color very spontaneously. But I could consider this product in a positive way, because it’s hard to find cruelty-free hair dye and it has moisturizing effect. The price could seem high if you compare it with Directions, but this product will last for a longer time. I’m eager to try other colors out.

Apibendrinant turiu pridurti, jog nėra sudėtingesnės spalvos nei turkio: ji greit blunka, linkusi pažaliuoti, greitai nusiplauna. Tad šiek tiek gailiuosi, jog pagauta pirminės emocijos, išsirinkau būtent šią spalvą. Manau, tradicinė violetinė ar mėlyna būtų sužavėjusi mane labiau. color Šią priemonę vertinu puikiai vien todėl, jog sunku rasti netestuojamus su gyvūnais plaukų dažus, be to, patiko drėkinančios kaukės savybės. Kaina gali pasirodyti gąsdinanti, lyginant su Directions, tačiau vienos pakuotės užteks ne vienam dažymui. Nekantrauku išbandyti kitas spalvas.
